La Cava del Mayoral

Destiladora Suprema de Los Altos, the maker of the brand "La Cava Del Mayoral" is located twenty minutes outside of Arandas, in the region of Los Altos. The company a small family-owned distillery located in Jesus Maria. 

The region of Los Altos has soil that is red due to its rich iron content. This translates in a much sweeter and juicier agave. In order to maintain its taste characteristics La Cava Del Mayoral distills only twice and is very focused on wood management for its rested products.
