Founded 15 years ago, BENEVÁ is a 100% Oaxacan company which arose from a dream that came true, thanks to the tenacity of Pedro Mateo López, who was born in Santiago Mazatlán, Oaxaca and learned the trade of mezcal distilling from his grandparents .

With this dynamic of steady and permanent growth, Pedro Mateo López officially incorporated the company MEZCAL BENEVA, S.A. de C.V., on August 10, 2000, initially guaranteeing a product that is 100% AGAVE quality and he then boosted production in order to penetrate the world's markets as the most important goal.

With his eyes on the future, he has created a new integral concept to manufacture mezcal by applying new technologies at his mezcal distillery.

Benevá mezcal has penetrated the liquor markets in Australia, Germany, Spain, France, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States.
